About the Event
Explore the wonderful world of glass and experiment with different glass techniques and materials. Learn how to design and make 2 beautiful fused glass mini waves in 2 hour workshop.
Adult workshop, or children aged 14 years+
Suitable for Basic introduction/ beginner or improver. A huge range of glass in many colours and forms is available, as is guidance on composition and assembly.
During the workshop you will be shown the basics of fused glass techniques to make 2 free standing mini candle waves. It is a hands on workshop with no experience necessary.
On a 16cm x 7cms base piece of clear fusing glass you will use crushed glass (frit) strands of glass ( stringers) and small pieces of glass to make a 3D candle wave. The finished piece looks wonderful on a windowsill or mantle, or you may wish to choose to keep your design flat as a…
