As an experienced Primary teacher of 30 years with an art degree, and as an artist I have combined my skills and passion for teaching to offer children’s art classes.


Do you have a creative child? Do you want to help them develop their artistic skills and confidence? If so, then you might be interested in our art classes for children!

Our art classes are designed for children from Year 2 – year 8 inclusive, and they cover a wide range of mediums and techniques, including watercolours, acrylics, pastels, and 3D materials such as fused glass and clay. Our lessons and groups are age specific.


The classes are held in my studio in Basingstoke which provides a stunning view of the Hampshire countryside as inspiration. I offer weekly classes in half termly blocks, after school and on Saturday mornings during term time. The classes are small and personalised, so your child will get the attention and feedback they need to improve their art. The focus is to improve not just artistic abilities but also self-belief and a positive attitude.


Whether your child is a beginner or an advanced artist, they will find our classes fun, challenging and rewarding. I aim to build self-esteem so that every child has developed their skills and with increased confidence, nurtured in an encouraging environment. 


Book now for the new term. Prices start from £10 per session for years 2-4 and £12 per session for years 5-8. Classes must be booked in half termly blocks and paid for in advance. Experience the studio and get involved with the fun.
