Children's Fusing Workshop

This Workshop is suitable for  children aged 6 years+. It was designed to be a family event so accompanying adults can buy a ticket  and join in the making fun too if they like. If you wish to stay with your child and just help them with their glass making of course you will not be charged.This is not a glass cutting workshop although mosaic cutters are available for children 10years+ and adults. 

You will be taught to  design and assemble a glass hanging, lightcatcher, tealight or coaster using a base piece of glass, glass frits ( Glass sprinkles) stringers and small pieces of precut glass.  I'm a great believer in letting the children make their own designs and  giving them the skills to do this. You can chose to make  1 of the following

Hanging - ( 10 x 10cm square,  5 x 15 cm rectangle,  10 cm bird, or 10cm heart)  included

Tealight holder - Using any of the above shapes  (£4 extra to be paid at the workshop) 

Coaster -  (£5 extra to be paid at the workshop) 

All materials and tools are provided.  Coffee and tea are provided for adults and squash or water for the children. Some clients choose to bring design ideas (photos on phones or drawn out) Pinterest and Google is a good place to look for inspiration! Please wear closed-toe shoes for health and safety reasons.
