About the Event
If you’re looking for a new hobby, or would love to see a bit more about the possibilities of glass fusing, this is the course for you! Over the course of 6 weeks, I will introduce a series of techniques that you can use either by themselves or combine together to have a great grounding of how to make your very own fused glass pieces. Each week we will make pieces using an individual technique and learn how different temperatures in the kiln can affect the outcome. We will then in the last 2 weeks, make a final piece that can uses a combination of all the techniques that you have learnt.
Techniques we will learn include glass cutting, Full and tac fusing, slumping, using metals in the glass and jewellery making, After each session I will fire your pieces, ready for the following weeks class – it’s always exciting…
